Blue Tree Mozambique
Blue Tree has completed various projects in Africa in the last few years including Mauritius, Nigeria and Botswana. As the opportunity has emerged, we have established a permanent foothold outside of South Africa and have opened an office in Mozambique. The offices are based in Maputo.
This provides Blue Tree with an opportunity to take world-class technology, skills and governance to a new emerging market.

Tivoli License Metric Tool
Blue Tree initiated research and development into the management, deployment and configuration of the IBM Tivoli License Metric Tool. This process involved running laboratories internal to the company and working in the IBM AIC with IBM specialists.
The objective is to establish core competence in the use of this tool.
This project has successfully been completed and we are currently underway with our first live client installation with the tool.
"I am happy that this process is finally underway. After a large investment in this skill and our understanding that we are currently the only business partner in South Africa to hold this key knowledge, it has definitely provided us with an additional channel for the company. This product and the full Tivoli license and asset management tool will become a full supported product set for Blue Tree before the end of 2010. This coupled with our recent appointment as a WebSphere Advanced Business Partner, now means that Blue Tree is well placed to become the market leader in IBM software technologies in the future."

The work on version 2 has already begun and we are focusing on better integration into the Linux platform, plus the development of our own dialler and the integration for our clients third party needs.
